Professor : Qualification
A Master’s degree in a Hindi / History / Political Science / Public Administration / Education / Economics / Gandhian Studies with 55% marks (50% marks for SC / ST) or an equivalent grade in a point – scale wherever the grading system is followed and MA / PG Diploma (one year) / Diploma (one year) in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Studies / Deen Dayal Upadhyay Philosophy / Thoughts / Contribution from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates are advised to read detailed notification for more details.
Assistant Professor : Essential Qualification
- Full time 3/4 years Bachelor Degree or 3 years Diploma after 10+2 with at least 55% marks (50% for SC / ST / Physically & Visually handicapped) in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management from a recognized University or equivalent.
- A Master’s degree with first class (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Minimum of Three years of experience of Hotel Industry (4 star and above category Hotels) and / or teaching (after Post-Graduation) in an institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology / AICTE or State Board of technical education / recognized University)
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates having Ph.D in Hotel Management / Tourism and Travel Management.
Associate Professor : Essential Qualification
- A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.
- A first class degree with first class (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Minimum of eight years of experience teaching and /or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University / College / Accredited Research Institution / hotel industry (4 star and above category Hotels) with a minimum of seven publications in the peer – reviewed or UGC – listed journals and a total research score of Seventy Five as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2
Desirable: At least two papers published in SCOPUS indexed journal or ABDC journals.
